WOB signs agreement with a Sri Lankan company to empower women

Women On Boards Maldives (WOB) has signed an agreement with McQuire Rens & Jones to aid in their activities to help and empower women.

At a ceremony held at City Garden, the Founder and President of WOB, Fathimath Shafeeqa signed the agreement on behalf of WOB while Managing Director of McQuire, Narendra Jayasuriya represented his company.

Talking to the press after signing the agreement, Director of WOB, Aishath Rafiyya said that with the agreement, a long time relations have been established between the two organizations.

And so McQuire would be assisting WOB in their main task of empowering women and bring more women to the political stage.

McQuire would also be assisting in the Women’s Conference in Bandos today.

STELCO, MWSC, Maldives Police Service and many others are taking part in the Women’s Conference in Bandos today.

McQuire is a corporate training organization in Sri Lanka.
