Service allowance deduction case appealed at High Court

Following the Employment Tribunal has decided that deductions from the service allowances cannot be made for sick days, the case has been appealed by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) at High Court.

After case of deducting from Service Allowance on a sick day was submitted to the Employment Tribunal, they have decided that no deduction can be made for sick days. And has ordered the CSC to repay the deducted money from the Service Allowance.

The appeal made from CSC at High Court has been accepted by the court. And the case was registered last Monday.

And an independent party has submitted a case requesting the High Court to the rule against the article of the Employment Law that says that the service allowance would be deducted for days called in sick and dissolve the article. The court has accepted that case as well.
