Singer Mira appointed as Coordinator at Youth Ministry

Local artist Mira Mohamed Majid has been appointed as Coordinator at National Centre for the Arts (NCA), an institute under the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

This has been confirmed to Sun Online by an official of Youth Ministry, who said that Mira will start work in her new role tomorrow.

NCA already has two Coordinators, singer Umar Zahir and movie star Abdulla Muaz.

Mira signed the membership form to join ruling party, Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM), at a ceremony at Hotel Jen on 28 April 2015, to inaugurate the Ismehela Hera tourism project in Addu City.
