Japanese Foreign Minister invited to the Maldives

Foreign Minister Dhunya Maumoon has invited the Japanese Foreign Minister, Fumio Kishida to make an official visit to the Maldives.

Minister Dhunya Maumoon extended the invitation at a meeting at the Japanese Foreign Ministry yesterday.

At the meeting yesterday, Minister Dhunya noted the close relations between the two countries and expressed her gratitude for the Japanese support.

The Maldivian Ambassador to Japan, Ahmed Khaleel and Joint Secretary, Aishath Azeema also took part in the meeting.

Minister Dhunya’s official visit to Japan is to take part in the Hope for Women conference in Japan.
