Moosa Ali Kaleyfaan appointed as HRCM member

President Abdulla Yameen has appointed Moosa Ali Kaleyfaan as a member of the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM).

Moosa Ali Kaleyfaan took the oath of office at a ceremony held at the President’s Office this afternoon.

The oath was administered by Chief Justice Abdulla Saeed.

In addition to Moosa Ali Kaleyfaan, the parliament has also approved Naiveen Abdulla for the post of member of HRCM.

A case has been filed to the Prosecutor General’s (PG) Office against Moosa Ali Kaleyfaan, accusing him of corruption.
