Road developments of MWSC to MRDC

Maldives Water and Sewage Company (MWSC) has given the paving and road development phases of their sewage system projects to Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC).

Under the agreement, all paving and road developments would be done my MRDC.

The two companies signed the agreement today at a ceremony held at the Fen Building by the Managing Director of MWSC, Fazul Rasheed and the Managing Director of MRDC, Ibrahim Nazeem.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Managing Director of MWSC said that the agreed projects would be done so that both companies would profit. And he said that the decision for the collaboration between the two companies was made to ensure speed and quality in the projects concerning the benefit of the people.

The Managing Director of MRDC, Ibrahim Nazeem said that the quality of the roads were very poor because of the way the companies did it before.

But with MRDC, the projects would be completed without inconveniencing the public.
