Discussions held regarding establishing child sex offenders register

Relevant institutions have held discussions regarding establishing a register containing names of child sex offenders, as required by Article 57 of the Child Abuse (Special Provisions) Act.

Police said that the discussions were held yesterday at Iskandar Koshi.

Officials discussed issues such as publishing names of child sex offenders, protecting children from child sex offenders, and taking measures to prevent the offence being repeated.

Information was also shared regarding sharing information with the police, as well as relevant ministries and institutions.
