STO: There is no scarceness for petrol

The main seller of fuel in the country, State Trading Organization (STO) has said that there is no scarceness for fuel.

Responding to a question from Sun Media about the rumors that Malé is out of petrol, the Managing Director of STO, Ahmed Shaheer said that STO has no difficulty with providing fuel for the people.

“The petrol sheds of STO are opening and the same times as before and are servicing everyone that comes for their service.” Shaheer said.

He said that there are no concerns in stock and that STO is continuing to supply fuel.

While rumors of scarceness for petrol are spreading, there are a lot of people at in queue near the petrol sheds to buy fuel.
