Bad weather expected for next 24 hours

Maldives Meteorological Service (Met Office) has warned that bad weather will continue across the country over the next 24 hours.

Rough seas are expected throughout and winds will pick up to 30 to 35 miles per hour during rainstorms, the authority said.

Warnings have been issued for bad weather and people have been advised to take necessary precaution when travelling, as travel within the country is expected to increase during Eid holidays.
