Agreement signed between ACC and Transparency Maldives against corruption

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and Transparency Maldives have signed an agreement to aid and work together to against corruption.

At the signing ceremony held at ACC, President of the ACC, Hassan Luthufee and Transparency’s Hussain Siraj signed the agreement.

ACC said that the main purpose of the MOU signed with Transparency Maldives is to raise the standards of the anti-corruption institutes established in Asia Pacific region and work together to stop corruption.

They also said that the MOU would allow aid from the Asia Pacific institutes against corruption in raising the standards of ACC and help in resolving the problems facing the Commission.
