Maumoon Foundation announces 28 scholarships

Former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom’s Maumoon Foundation has announced 28 higher-education scholarships for courses in Garden City College, Bangalore, India.

The areas of study are Business Administration, Commerce, Tourism, History, Journalism, Computer Application, Psychology, English, Fashion and Apparel Design, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Genetics.

The requirements for applying for the scholarships are either four passes in O’Level subjects and three passes in A’Level subjects, or five passes in O’Level subjects and two passes in A’Level subjects; and either minimum C in GCE O’Level English, or an equivalent pass in English.

Applicants must also be below 28 years of age.

The deadline for submitting applications is 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, 16 July 2015, and selected applicants will be informed on Monday, 20 July 2015.
