The Parliament Committee on Public Accounts has held a meeting behind closed doors, to discuss a report by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) on review of salaries and allowances of judges.
Media presence is normally allowed at meetings of the Public Accounts Committee.
For example, media was allowed at recent meetings regarding the salary structure of the parliament, as well as night duty allowance for judges.
The second issue on the agenda of today’s meeting was discussion of administrative issues.
