Temporary mosque opens in Hulhumal

The temporary mosque built in Hulhumalé for Ramadan has been inaugurated, by Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr Mohamed Muizzu after Asr prayer on Thursday.

The mosque has a capacity of 1,000 people, and brings the number of mosques in Hulhumalé to five.

Over 30,000 people presently reside in Hulhumalé.

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) said that the mosque will be dismantled after Ramadan.
