Broadcasting Commission and the Media Council moved to Billoorijehige

The government has decided to move the Broadcasting Commission and the Media Council to Billoorijehige where the Malé City Council was formerly run from.

Sources say that the government has asked to the Media Council and the Broadcasting commission to move.

The President of the Maldives Media Council, Mohamed Aasif told Sun Media tonight that the government has asked to move to Billoorijehige by today. But since it is not possible, they have requested at the government to increase the time frame.

Malé City Council which was formerly at Billoorijehige was moved to Huravee Building last April.
