Civil Servants to receive Ramadan Allowance by tomorrow

Finance Ministry has ordered that the Civil Servants must receive their Ramadan Allowance of MVR 3000 by the end of tomorrow.

A circular issued by the Finance Ministry says that tomorrow is the latest day by which the Civil Servants should receive their allowance.

Under the new law passed by the parliament, every employee must receive MVR 3000 as Ramadan Allowance.

The circular from the ministry said that if an employee leaves his job after he receives the Ramadan Allowance and before one third of the Ramadan has passed, the employee has to return the money for the remaining days of the Ramadan.
