Youth commits suicide in Maafushi

A young man has been found dead by hanging at a house in Maafushi in Kaafu Atoll.

The man was the 27-year-old Ahmed Mahureen.

The Police Media Official said that the suicide was reported to the Police last night around 12:04 a.m. and the Maafushi Police are investigating.

He said that when the Police arrived on scene, the body has started decomposing. And so they believe it was reported after two days or so.

The Official said that any further details could be given after the investigation.
