President asks the national team for a win against Qatar

President Abdulla Yamin Abdul Gayoom has requested the national football team to show an excellent performance and win their match against Qatar on Thursday.

The President made the request in his visit to the national stadium where the national team is preparing for the World Cup qualifiers.

The General Secretary of FAM, Bassam Adheel Jaleel and the Manager of the National team, Mohamed Latheef welcomed the President at the football stadium.

Before the team’s practices began tonight, the Captain of the National Team, Ali Ashfaq presented the no. 3 jersey of the national team to the President.

President Abdulla Yamin met with the players and the coach of the national team and supported the team to bring a good result in the upcoming match according to the President’s Office.
