Opportunity to express opinion on government project to the President

The government has decided to open the opportunity to those who wants express their opinions to the President Abdulla Yamin Abdul Gayoom regarding government projects.

The Public Affairs Coordinator of the President’s Office, Aishath Leeza told Sun Media that starting from next Sunday; the website of the President’s Office would open a special column called “Dear President”. And the people would be the opportunity to express their opinion in any field they want. She said that the opinions on the column would be reviewed every week and President would see the opinions of the people.

“Reports would be prepared weekly. Those reports would tell us what a specific age of people wants. What are the concerns in which sector does the people of a specific age raises. When the weekly and monthly reports are being prepared, we would include the ideas if they are good when we continue based on those ideas.” Leeza said.

She said that if there are good opinions and ideas expressed, they would be shown on the website and if there are any opinions that require an answer, they would be addressed as well.

Coordinator Leeza said that after reviewing the support for the program for a month or so, it would be expended to social media.
