Gayoom to address ISES in Bali, Indonesia

Former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom has departed to attend the International Student Energy Summit (ISES) in Bali, Indonesia.

Speaking to reporters at the airport today, Gayoom said that his speech will focus on the role of the youth in matters related to climate change, sea level rise, global warming, and sustainable development.

Gayoom has received many international awards for his contributions to increasing awareness on environmental issues.

ISES will be held from 10 to 13 June 2015.
