25 of the protestors arrested on May Day remain in Police custody

All the protestors arrested at the May Day rally organized by the opposition have been released aside from 25 protestors.

Police Media Official told Sun Media today that the protestors were released yesterday. And they were released because there was no further reason to keep them in custody.

While most of the people arrested at the protest have been released, Police have sent the cases of 123 people to the Prosecutor General’s (PG’s) office.

Police arrested 193 people regarding the May Day protest.
