Tourist dies while snorkelling

A tourist has died while out snorkelling in Medhufushi Island Resort in Meemu atoll.

Police said that the incident was reported at 10:50 a.m., and the tourist was confirmed dead by doctors upon arrival at Muli Hospital.

The nationality of the deceased has not been disclosed.
