Foreign Minister congratulates Cameron and the Conservative Party

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dunya Maumoon has congratulated David Cameron and the ruling Conservative Party on their parliament win.

The tweet from the official Foreign Ministry says that the Foreign Minister sends her congratulations to Cameron on the win by the Conservative Party.

Aside from the Foreign Minister, the Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed and the former president Mohamed Nasheed also send their congratulations to Cameron.

In the British Parliament Election yesterday, the Conservative party has won 331 of 650 seats while the opposition Labor Party won 232 seats. And while the Liberal Democrats has won eight, the Scotland National Party has won 56 seats. The Democratic Union Party has also won eight seats. The remaining seats went to other small parties.
