Shooting range to be established in Hulhumale

Land have been given to the Shooting Association of Maldives to develop Shooting Range in Hulhumale’ Youth City.

At a ceremony held at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Youth Minister, Mohamed Maleeh signed the land agreement. Shooting Association was represented by it’s President, Mohamed Zahir.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Maleeh said that the land assigned in the agreement today was a land near the sports arena being developed in Hulhumale’ and it would be developed by the Shooting Association of Maldives.

Minister said that the development of a Shooting Range at the 35,000 square feet land would give the opportunity to excel to those who are interested in the sport.

President of the Shooting Association also spoke at the ceremony saying that the development of a special arena for the sport is a success for the sport.
