President of Gaafaru Council joins PPM

The President of Gaafaru Council, Adam Zahid has joins the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM).

Madam first lady accepted the membership form from the Zahid at the ceremony held today at Muliaage.

Talking to Sun Media today, Zahid said that he decided to join the governing party, PMM because he believes that he needs to work with the government for the development of the island. Zahid who was with MDP until today, said that he does not believe anything can be done for the development of the island working against the government.

“I believe that development of the island can be achieved by working with the governing party and so I signed to PPM.” Zahid.
