Opportunities for 100 positions are open for higher education through the education opportunities provided by the Saudi government to the Maldives.
Department of Higher Education said today that 55 positions for bachelor’s degree, 30 positions and 15 positions for Ph.D are now open.
Higher Education said that applicants applying for bachelor’s degrees need to have five passes of C or above in O’ level IGCSE or a similar exam and three passes of E or above on GCE A’ level.
Application for master’s degree would require a bachelor’s degree. Higher Education said that the applicants need to be 30 years of age by 27 April or of the accepting age of the applying university.
Higher Education said that applicants for Ph.D requires a master’s degree and at the age of 35 by 27 April or at the accepting age of the applying university.
Department of Higher Education said that all applicants must have a C grade or above in English at IGCSE O’ level or a similar exam and/or a C grade or above in English at CAE/CPE or 525 or above at TOEFL or 6.0 or above at IELTS.
Higher Education said that the final selection of the nominated candidates would be made by the host Saudi Arabia.
And applicants need submit the application form to the Department of Higher Education by 2:30 p.m. of 27 April.
Formerly, Saudi Arabia offered 50 slots for higher education to the Maldives. After discussion held at President Yamin’s visit to the Saudi last month, the number of slots has been increased to 150.
