Economic Ministry takes over Get Set loans

Get Set loans which was previously stopped by the Anti Corruption Commission has been changed to the Economic Ministry.

An official from the Ministry told Sun Media that Get Set loans which was previously under the Youth Ministry has been changed to the Enterprise Development Section of the Economic Ministry. The official said that no major changes would come to the project although it has been changed to the Economic Ministry.

The application process for the Get Set loans has ended in February. Get Set is a MVR 300,000 – MVR 800,000 loan program aimed for young people who are starting new businesses with an interest rate of zero to eight percent.
