Dead baby found in sea near Mal

A dead baby has been found in the sea near the Youth Centre in Malé.

The incident was reported by two siblings swimming in the area. The baby was in a milk powder can, with the lid on.

The siblings said that they removed the can from the water and decided to check inside, because it was heavy.

The dead baby has been handed over to the police, and the case is under investigation.
