Policy established on issuing areas for political activities

Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr Mohamed Muizzu has said that areas will be issued to parties for the purpose of holding political activities in Male', based on an established policy.

Dr Muizzu also told Sun Online today that a schedule has been established for issuing areas to parties for political activities.

The areas designated for political activities are Artificial Beach and Carnival grounds.

Opposition groups have been protesting on the streets of Malé every night since 16 February 2015.
