Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) has decided to put the Independence Day logo on their planes to commemorate the 50th Independence Day of the Maldives.

In today’s ceremony, noting that other airlines are also planning to put up the Independence Day logo, Minister Saeed thanked the staff of TMA for their such services.
“35 percent of the tourists that come to the Maldives use such seaplanes. The tourists that come to see the most beautiful destination, putting the logo of independence on the planes that take them to the beautiful beaches is very important work showing our pride. For that, I thank all the staff of TMA.” Minister said.
Aside from Minister Saeed, Home Minister Umar Naseer also spoke at the ceremony saying that he hopes for the support from TMA in the events celebrating the Independence Day like the Skydiving event.
