Husnee Mubarak assigned to Manadhoo Magistrate Court

The only applicant who met the conditions out of the 39 applicants who applied with the announcement for magistrates for 10 courts have taken oath today.

At the special ceremony hosted by the Judicial Service Commission at the Supreme Court tonight, Husnee Mubarak was assigned as the Magistrate to the Court of N. Manadhoo.

His oath was read by the Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef. Chief Judge Abdulla Saeed presented the letter of appointment to Mubarak once he took oath.

Magistrates are paid MVR18,500 per month and High Magistrates are paid MVR 21,000 per month along with living allowance and risk allowance.
