Supreme Court: MP Nazim case hearing has not been scheduled

Supreme Court has denied rumours that a hearing for the case against Dhiggaru MP Ahmed Nazim had been scheduled for today.

Supreme Court Spokesperson told Sun Online that cases that are scheduled are listed on the court’s website.

Prosecutor General’s Office also said that they had not been informed by the court, of a hearing being scheduled on this case.

Criminal Court and High Court have ruled in favour of MP Nazim in the fraud charges pressed against him by the state.

Hearings on the appeal case of the High Court ruling filed by the State to Supreme Court, have also been concluded.
