A man with wounds has started treatment at IGMH

Maldives Police Service has confirmed that a man with wounds has been taken to IGM hospital and started treatment.

Police Media official said that a man with wounds was taken to IGMH around 11:45 p.m. tonight from near the Euro Store on Chandhanee Magu.

The media official said that he was a 23 year-old Maldivian national and the police are investigating how he got those wounds.

When a journalist asked if an attack took place in the area, the media official said that there were no reports of such a crime in the area.

So far, we are unclear about the extent of his injuries.
