A team from the Maldivian Language Academy has decided to visit India to research the Maldivian language and the history.
A press release from the Indian High Commission in Maldives says that a team form the language academy would visit India from the next Sunday to the 9 of the next month.
The High Commission said that the visit on the invitation of the Indian government, the team would meet with the universities in India and seek the available knowledge on the Maldivian history and language. And a language research based on the knowledge of Boduthakurufaanu has been planned for the trip.
The team is scheduled to visit New Delhi, Agara, Aligarh, Mysore, Kannur and Trivandrum.
The Indian High Commissioner in Maldives, Mr. Rajeev Shahare has met with the team from the Maldivian Language Academy.
