Kulhudhuffushi boy drowns while on picnic in Kunburudhoo

A child from Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi has drowned and died in the uninhabited island of Haa Dhaalu Kunburudhoo, while on picnic with his family.

The child has been named as Fuad Ali, 14, Sandhubarakaage, Kulhudhuffushi.

This has been confirmed to Sun Online by President of Kulhudhuffushi Council Ali Mohamed, who said that Fuad was a student in Grade 8 of Kulhudhuffushi Jalaaluddin School.

The victim’s body is presently in Kulhudhuffushi Hospital.
