Two foreigners attacked

Two foreigners have been injured in two different attacks in Male’.

Police Information Officer Ismail Ali told Sun Media that the first attack took place around 7:30 p.m. near the fish market on the north side of the city. The second attack took place around 7:30 p.m. at the West Park area.

The Information Officer said that both attacks were from two people on a motorcycle and believed to be the same people involved in both attacks.

The foreigners involved in both incidents were attacked with a sharp object and are being treated at IGM hospital. Information Officer Ismail Ali said that their conditions are not too serious. Police are investigating the crimes.

While two foreigners have been attacked tonight, another was killed last Sunday night. And last night, a foreigner was found dead with wounds on his body in Thoddoo.
