Maldivian affiliated with IS dies at war

A young Maldivian citizen who left the country and joined the Islamic State (IS) dies at war.

Ahmed Munsif of Gnaviyani Fuvahmulah who joined IS last October, died in conflict on 12 March. Sources say that Munsif left for IS with his wife, Mariyam Suma, with whom he’s been married for less than a year.

Sources say Munsif had record for drug abuse and other crimes before he left that life behind about an year ago. And he left the capital for his native Fuvahmulah to get married.

Ahmed Musif and his wife left for IS territory to because he believed that it was a place he could leave his past behind.

America and their allies have been an at war with IS, hence; a large portion of Syria and Iraq under their control are in conflict. The location of Munsif’s dead is yet unconfirmed.
