$40,000 stolen from safe in office at STO Trade Centre

$40,000 has been stolen from the safe of an office located at STO Trade Centre in Malé.

A police spokesperson told Sun Online that the theft took place from Ocean Travels on Thursday night.

Police said that STO Supermarket was also broken into on the same night.

Sources have told Sun Online that an iPad was stolen from the supermarket.

Police have not made any arrests.
