President Yamin visits Saudi

The President Abdulla Yamin Abdul Gayoom and the First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim arrived at the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh this afternoon.

President and the First Lady was welcomed at the King Khalid International Airport by King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The visit by the President and the First Lady is by the invitation of the Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Leader of the Maldives Democratic Alliance (MDA), Ahmed Siyaam Mohamed, Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr. Mohamed Shainee and the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem also took part in the visit with the president.
