Former Defense Minister Colonel-retired Mohamed Nazim who was in police custody charged with importing and possession of a firearm has been changed to house arrest “temporarily”.
The Information Officer of Police Inspector Ismail Ali said that the former Defense Minister was changed to house arrest “temporarily.” He did not give the cause of this change.
Nazim’s family said that he brought home for 24 hours for a “medical treatment”.
Former Defense Minister Nazim has been brought back to his residence after 33 days in police custody. The former minister of defense was arrested conspiracy after a handgun was found in his home on the 10 February.
