Former Minister of Defence Mohamed Nazim, presently in police custody, has been taken to Senahiya Hospital to consult a urologist.
The police spokesperson told Sun Online that Nazim was taken to Malé at around 11:15 a.m. for health reasons.
Sources have told Sun Online that Nazim consulted a urologist and did a blood test.
A hearing of the case against him, for charges of import and possession of firearms, has been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. today at Criminal Court.
