The famous American scholar Sheikh Dr. Yasir Qadhi has arrived in Maldives today

The famous American scholar Sheikh Dr. Yasir Qadhi arrived in the Maldives today.

Sheikh Mohamed Didi, State Minister Dr. Mohamed Ali, Deputy of the Islamic Minister Dr. Aishath Muneez and Ibrahim Mohamed welcomed Dr. Qadhi at the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA).

Dr. Qadhi is in the country to deliver a sermon this Friday night at Alimas Carnival as part of the “The Message” preaches organized by the Islamic Ministry.

As part of “The Message”, to enforce the religious spirit in the hearts of the youth, Friday night sermon at Alimas Carnival by Dr. Qadhi would be based on “the principles of Iman”.

The deputy of the Islamic Minister, Aishath Muneez told Sun Media today that Dr. Qadhi arrived at the invitation of the Islamic ministry and would the Friday Prayer’s sermon at the Islamic Center.

And he would also be meeting the youth in the evening at the Islamic Center.

He would be going back to the United States on Friday.

Sheikh Yasir Qadhi, who studied at the Islamic University in Madheena, is the Dean of Academic Affairs at AlMaghrib Institute in the United States. He has been preaching in different parts of the globe.

With numerous articles about Islam, many believe that his one of the most influencial Sheikhs in America.
