Fahud breaks the Maldivian records for diving

The 34 year-old Fahud Faiz breaks the Maldivian records for diving.

Fahud, currently in Thailand, told Sun Media today that he has set the records for diving while holding his breath, free diving with fins and without fins.

“Some might think this was a world record. But this is a record in Maldives. This is Freediving. I set the record in three categories.” Fahud said.

He won sixth place from a competition with nine contenders from seven different countries. And he won the third place in mens category.

Contenders from America, France, Holland, Ireland, Hungary and Malaysia took part in the competition.
