After the former president Mohamed Nasheed pleaded not guilty for the charge of terrorism against him for the unlawful arrest of the chief judge Abdulla Mohamed, the prosecution has presented their evidence to court.
The prosecution submitted the evidence against the former president in last night’s hearing at the Criminal Court. And Nasheed’s lawyers presented their evidence in his defense.
The prosecution presented the names of former Commissioner of Police Ahmed Faseeh, former Deputy Commissioner of Police Ismail Athif, Inspector of Police Shakir, Superintendent of Police Mohamed Jamdheed and Chief Inspector of Police Abdul Manaaf Yousuf as witnesses.
