Man injured in row after accident

An argument after a traffic accident escalated into violence last night in Male’ city.

A police media official said the brutality took place at the intersection of Raiyvilla Hingun and Lonuziyaaraiy Magu around 7:35 p.m. last night. One person was taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) with a head injury.

The official did not give any details about the injury.

According to the sources, the violence took place when the argument between the two people involved in the traffic accident escalated after a group of people on the scene got themselves involved in the matter.

Police official said there have been no arrests so far on the case and the investigation is ongoing.
