Three people stabbed and wounded in Male

Three people have been stabbed and wounded in an assault that took place in Male’ on Sunday night.

The three people wounded have been taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) following the assault incident near Minnaa Fihaara in Maafannu Sabudhelimagu around 8:30 p.m.

An eyewitness has told to Sun Online that a sword was used in the assault that took place on Sunday night. However, police did not comment on this.

IGHM has said that a 23 year old man, who has been wounded in the assault has been discharged after treatment and a 19 year old man and a 21 year old man are being treated.

According to Media Officer of IGMH Zeenath Ali Habeeb, the two people in the hospital are not in a serious condition.

Police said that they have not yet arrested anyone nor seized any weapon over the assault.
