MDP gets Miladhoo Council seat

Candidate of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) Nasrulla has got the vacant seat of Noonu Miladhoo council without an election.

Election Commission (EC) has assured Sun Online that Nasrulla has won the seat without by-election,because he was the only candidate applied for the vacant seat of Miladhoo council.

EC has scheduled by-election of Miladhoo council for 7 March following resignation of Aboobakuru Ali on 16 November 2014 as a member of Miladhoo council.
