Shanghai Airlines begins direct flights to Maldives

Shanghai Airlines has commenced direct flights between Shanghai and Malé.

The first Shanghai Airlines flight – a B767 aircraft with a capacity of 200 passengers - arrived at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 3 February 2015.

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has said that the airline will operate three chartered flights per week until the end of the winter in China.
