Adeeb appointed Acting Home Minister

President Abdulla Yameen as appointed Minister of Tourism Ahmed Adeeb as Acting Minister of Home Affairs.

This has been confirmed to Sun Online by Spokesperson for the President’s Office Ibrahim Muaz Ali, who said that this appontment was in relation to Minister of Home Affairs Umar Naseer being out of the country on a state and private visit.

Earlier, Adeeb was appointed Acting Minister of Defence while then-Defence Minister Mohamed Nazim was out of the country.
