Ali Hameed elected President of JSC

Supreme Court Judge Ali Hameed has been elected as President of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

This has been confirmed to Sun Online by a senior official of JSC. He did not provide details as it was a secret vote.

Ali Hameed was appointed to JSC by President Abdulla Yameen yesterday, after Adam Mohamed Abdulla, who held the post of President of JSC, resigned as a member of JSC earlier this week.
