Ali Hameed appointed to JSC

President Abdulla Yameen has appointed Supreme Court Judge Ali Hameed as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

The letter of appointed was presented to Ali Hameed by President Yameen at a ceremony at the President’s Office today.

Ali Hameed also took oath, administered by Chief Justice Abdulla Saeed, as a member of JSC.

This comes after Adam Mohamed Abdulla, who held the post of President of JSC, resigned as a member of JSC earlier this week.
